Obamazilla Leaves Path of Destruction

Fresh off forcing the Federal takeover of the US Healthcare industry, one Barrack Hussein Obama has got his eye on the clock and intends to cram as much legislation through this congress as possible before the people kick his Democrat congressional minions to the curb. In this he is abrasive, arrogant and unapologetic. It's as though he has risen, monster like, from the fog and haze of his rhetoric, to terrify and crush the will of the people, and forever change this nation, a nation which he both leads and despises. Passing a massive government increase with one simple up or down vote, when the constitution requires a 60 vote majority, is putting precedent on its ear. Strange it is that President Bush could not get judicial appointments to the Supreme Court without 60 votes in the Senate, yet one sixth of the US economy falls into the hands of this power grubbing, tax and spend bureaucrat without the supermajority vote required in the Senate.

For all its size and screeching howl, Godzilla had nothing on this guy, for the monster, bred from radioactive ooze, only had the power to lay waste to Tokyo, whereas Obamazilla has a much larger footprint.

Presidential Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave voice to his contempt for the opposition party.

“Understanding that what they got out of the health care thing was virtually nothing, I think they may think twice on financial reform. There’s certainly ample evidence that their 'strategery' needs a little reform.”

Oh, I don't know about that. The Republicans got quite a lot out of the healthcare debate. For one, it demonstrated the utter contempt that this administration has for the American people and our democratic process. Parliamentary sleight of hand is not the way one leads a nation, and it will not be forgotten. Democrats have placed the people in the United States as their enemy, and celebrate their victory over them in the healthcare debate. But the debate was not won by the Democrats...it was lost by them. Yet they pushed through their agenda anyway, essentially holding the American people hostage with their lock on the seat of power in the government. To add insult to injury, one day after the Senate has taken its recess, the President has made recess appointments to a number of government positions, including placing union lawyer Craig Becker onto the National Labor Relations Board. All 41 Senate Republicans wrote Obama urging him not to use a recess appointment for Becker, a former lawyer with the Service Employees International Union and the AFL-CIO, whose nomination was rejected by the Senate last month, 52-43. In doing so he displayed the disdain which this president holds for the Republican party. This kind of crassness was also present in his rude interactions with both the representatives of the United Kingdom shortly after taking office, and the recent State visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. These two nations have been our greatest allies in an increasingly hostile world. This man is power crazed and bent on ruining the greatest, freest country the world has ever known. However, try as he might, he will never be greater than the people he was chosen to lead.

We are a free people.
